Sparkler Scarf or Stole
Inspired by the beauty of sparklers on the 4th of July, beads add the perfect burst of fireworks to this soft, flowy scarf or stole.
Sparkler is a rectangular shaped scarf or stole in three sizes, worked flat from the short end. Beaded sparklers are added to both ends, with a bold motif marking the center of the piece. Bead patterns are charted only; beads are placed on both right side and wrong side rows using the crochet hook method.
Pattern is charted. To complete as shown, you will need 409 (617, 825) Size 6 silver lined clear seed beads; approx 28 (42, 55) grams (approx 15 beads/g) (bead count is more accurate than gram estimate); each bead “spray” in edging design takes 52 beads × 6 (10, 14) sprays; center motif takes 97 beads, all sizes.
The yarn used in the sample is no longer available; we have made some substitution suggestions in the Kit Builder below.
