Easy snood knitting pattern | Free | Berlyn Snood

Knitting has become an increasingly popular hobby in recent years, particularly since the start of the COVID-19 pandemic. With so many people spending more time at home, many have turned to knitting as a way to relax and unwind while staying productive.

One of the great things about knitting is that it allows you to create beautiful and useful items with just a few simple tools and some yarn. One popular item that many knitters enjoy making is the snood, also known as an infinity scarf. A snood is a versatile accessory that can be worn in a variety of ways, making it a great addition to any wardrobe.

As a knitter myself, I have always enjoyed creating snoods for myself and my loved ones. However, I have noticed that many of the available patterns can be quite complicated, especially for beginners. That’s why I decided to create an easy and free snood knitting pattern that anyone can follow, even if they have never picked up a pair of knitting needles before.

My snood pattern uses simple stitches and techniques, making it a great project for those who are new to knitting. It also includes detailed instructions and photos to help guide you through each step of the process. And best of all, it can be completed in just a few hours, so you can have a cozy and stylish accessory in no time!

In addition to being a great project for beginners, my snood pattern is also customizable. You can choose your own yarn and needle size to create a snood that is the perfect size and style for you. And if you’re feeling creative, you can even experiment with different stitch patterns or add your own embellishments to make your snood truly unique.

I created this easy and free snood knitting pattern because I believe that everyone should have the opportunity to enjoy the relaxing and rewarding experience of knitting. With this pattern, even those who are new to the craft can create a beautiful and useful accessory that they can be proud of. So if you’re looking for a fun and satisfying knitting project, give my snood pattern a try!

Once you have finished knitting your project it will look like the image in the diagram.
To make it into a snood, sew the ends together as shown in the diagram. To do this, thread the tapestry needle with the same yarn used for your project and sew with a zigzag stitch, picking up one stitch from each end of the scarf.
To finish, make a knot and weave in the tail end of yarn about 3 inches, cut off even with the fabric. Weave in any loose ends in the same way.
