Blue

As a moving gift, I received some chunky blue yarn from my grandma. I have spent a long amount of time trying to figure out what I should do with it. Crochet a hat, knit a scarf, start a blanket, maybe a head warmer, so many possibilities for two balls of yarn.

I wanted to make an infinity scarf since it is still cold enough up here for wintry things. I wanted something kinda lacy and open. I think I found an ok pattern. It didn't turn out quite like I wanted.

The main reason that I know it didn't turn out right is cause there is a twist in it. It wasn't intentional, but I know with a scarf like this a twist isn't the end of the world. A hat yes end of the world, infinity scarf..eh might be alright.

So with or without a twist I guess that is up to you, but here is how to make it. I used two skeins chunky yarn, and US size 13 circular needles with an extra long cord mine are adjustable so it was easy for me. I think the reason I developed a twist if cause I started this project with the cord being too short. So here it goes.

This is what the right side of the lace work looks like. It knits up rather fast I only sat down and worked on it three times, and I was able to finish it.

Baseball season is coming up quick only twenty something days left until opening day at the ball field. I am looking forward to more work and game days. The only downside is that it is still only 20 something degrees here as well. I believe that this week high is going to be somewhere around freezing. I am tired of the cold. I need some serious baseball weather. This town will probably seem a lot more welcoming once tourist season starts. Once I'm able to trade my boots for sandals I will be a happy gal.
