Men’s scarf – free pattern

It was about time I made something for him as well.

I know spring is coming, but with the weather we are dealing with, trust me, we still need our scarves, hats and gloves (even fingerless).

So, here you a have a free knitting pattern for your partner (or even for yourself).  Sorry for the light in the photos, as I was saying, the sun was hiding every time we were trying to take photos.

Men’s scarf – Free Knitting Pattern

What you need:

Needles: 4.5 mm straight needles or circular.

Amount of yarn needed: approx. 2 ball of yarn (350 g)

Yarn Weight: Aran 10 ply / 8 wpi

Yarn Gauge: 18 st (4in/10 cm)

Other: 1 cable needle, row counter (if you use one), darning needle for weaving in ends

Abbreviations:

Sl 1/2 in F: Sl 1/2 sts on a cable needle and hold in front.

Sl 1/2 in B: Sl 1/2 sts on a cable needle and hold in back.

Other info: This pattern is worked flat.

Note: When I work flat I prefer not to work the first stitch, I just slip it. It gives the work a smoother edge.
