Hello Noble Knitters! It's Nancy Queen and I'm here to talk to you today about another free knitting pattern. This one is called the Zauber Wrap. Now, it's a large triangular wrap and this one I haven't even blocked yet because I just want you to see what it looks like right off the needles without being adjusted. Notice how beautiful the color transition is. This triangle wrap uses one skein of Schoppel Zauberwolle Yarn and you can see the transition (color change) is just so rich.

It's made just like our Zaubershawl, but just using a different Zauber yarn. So you'll start out in this corner with just three stitches. You'll knit every row, but just increase on just one side. You'll keep knitting and your rows will get wider, and wider, and wider until you are almost out of yarn and then you'll bind off. Then your increase side becomes the top of your shawl. That's how your Zauberwrap is made. I just love the diagonal effect of this project and just how muted and elegant the colors are with Zauberwolle. You can see it's kind of a combination of colors that are introduced; they're using several strands to create that effect. I think it's just beautiful.

Now I just want to you see, I'm going to get my glasses on, so I can tell you a little bit of detail about this wrap. It is a free pattern available at NobleKnits. If you click the link below it will take you right to the page to download the free pattern. There's more pictures there so you can take a look at closeup photos.

It uses one balls (of Zauberwolle) and a size US 9 circular 24" knitting needle. The circular needle is just used to accommodate the large number of stitches you are going to have at the end. The completed measurements of this shawl, before blocking, are 19" high by 48" across. There's not much to this pattern! Happy knitting!
