I made two of these - one in Vanna's Choice from my stash and another Wool-ease from my stash. This pattern is an easy knit if you have a skosh of knitting experience under your belt, and the results are really beautiful. Mine were made as gifts and the recipients really loved them. I'm going to knit another one for myself!

I owned the little knit shop in Liberty, N.Y. many years ago and Lion Brand was one of my favorite yarns. Needless to say the Knit shop is long gone but my love of knitting continues and I found your product again. I want to thank you for continuing to offer the free patterns to the public. I made many of these hats last year, for people at my workplace. They gave me "tips" for making them as I felt funny for them to pay me for making a free pattern. In the end, I had enough to buy my daughter her Christmas wish---a new guitar. It is a lovely pattern and it thrills me that I was able to make my daughter's Christmas wish come true. Thanks.
