CO 56 sts; K11 rounds for rolled brim
*P 6 rounds; k7 rounds*.
Repeat *xx* twice. P 6 rounds;
in last round place 7 markers every 8 sts .
K 4 rounds; begin dec.
K6 sts, K2tog in round #5. (42 sts)
P 6 rounds
Knit Decrease Round: K first round. *K until 2 sts before m,
K2tog* rounds #3 & #5. K w/o dec in even number rounds. Remove markers last round. (14 sts)
Purl Crown Section: P round 1. Round 2: *K2 tog, K1* (9sts).
Round 3: *K2tog, K1* (6sts)
Make pom-pom.
The hat fits tightly on the doll’s head so that it will ‘slouch’
without falling off.
