Beinn Hat
  1 customer review

Beinn Bhreagh (beautiful mountain) is Alexander Graham Bell estate in picturesque Cape Breton, Nova Scotia. It overlooks Bras d'Or Lake, a salt and fresh water inland lake, from whose icy surface the Silver Dart took flight on a wintry day in 1909. On such chilly days, a warm hat is a must and one that has a generous fold-up brim is the best.

A tiny touch of cables creates a staggered rib that builds an interesting fabric on both the right and wrong side. Knit bottom up, in the round, the generous depth allows lots of room to fold up the brim or wear it with a touch of slouch. The fabric is very stretchy and will easily accommodate 1-5" of negative ease. Carefully weaving in the ends makes this hat reversible you might even like the wrong side better!
