DecoWaves Scarf

DecoWaves Scarf

A nice decorative autumn scarf, or fashion scarf! This scarf is knit using decreasing and yarn over techniques, and makes a very satisfying, not too difficult eyelet pattern. By alternating different colored yarn for each row (using double point needles) you can produce a horizontal stripe. Or knit in one color for a solid color.

Yarn Sport Weight 2 contrasting colors, 2 skeins each (about 440 Yards)

Needles US 6 regular or US 6 double point (for alternating color work)

Final Measurements: 4 ft long (or longer if desired), about 10 inches across

Gage:
6 rows= 1 ‘’
6 stitches= 1 ‘’

  1. nice, but for the soild pattern ther is missing the caston stitches. If you use 56 like in the stripes on, ther will be one left in row 3. The Pattern in the * is 18 stitches used, 6 before and 12 at the end plus 1 it made un uneven number. So i guess ther is a k1 missing in row 3 at the beginning

    1. You are correct, this is feather and fan stitch, it is a pattern repeat of 18 stitches, it is repeated 3 times which is 54, so there needs to be a knit 1 at the beginning and end for the 56 stitch cast on to work out.
