Big Bulky Bobble Beanie – Free Knitting Pattern

This was one of my go-to hats when I was heading out the door on cold days the last couple winters, it is so cozy soft and warm. Big bobbles are worked into a reverse stocking stitch for an awesome, eye-catching texture. A long rim adds style and extra warmth to this super soft and lofty, mushroom shaped, slouchy beanie.

Affiliate Statement: Hey Readers, the following post contains affiliate links.  I may receive a small commission if you click and purchase from one of these links (which honestly, I’ll probably use to buy more yarn and design more awesome patterns to share with you).  I only recommend products that I already use and love, thank you so much for your support.

This beanie is made with Knit Picks Biggo Bulky (affiliate link – see statement above) which is an awesome, squishy soft superwash merino wool and nylon mix. It is closer to a super bulky weight making this a really quick and fun project to knit up. The colours used below are Sapphire Heather and Dove Heather.

Cut yarn and use a darning needle to run yarn through remaining stitches.  Secure firmly and run through the stitches again.  Run yarn through the center and sew a couple stitches on the inside (to avoid getting a hole later).

Weave in loose ends.

Wash and block.
