Design

The Albie Baby Blanket features triangles throughout the pattern using knit and purl stitches to create them, this is a 16 row repeat but still very easy to follow, after you have done the first 8 rows you will notice from rows 9-16 that you will literally be following rows 8 back down to row 1 again so you will be able to see the triangles form quite quickly. This knitting pattern uses knit and purl stitches which are really basic knitting stitches which makes it a perfect pattern for beginners as well as the advanced knitter.

Here are some common questions about this pattern to help you along with making this beautiful blanket:

Is A Chart Available For This Pattern?

No. Only written instructions, line by line.

Do I Need To Block My Blanket?

For this knitting pattern i do highly recommend that you block your work after you have finished, everything looks so much neater blocked! It’s very easy to do and i have given you the instructions on how to do this after the knitting pattern below. Just note though that your blanket will grow a bit when it has been blocked.

What Yarn Did You Use?

For this baby blanket i used the Paintbox Yarns Simply Aran which is such a dream to work with, it comes in such an array of colors which are so fresh, vibrant and modern. This yarn is really soft for an acrylic yarn which i love and it’s really affordable.
