Baby Mittens

These were made for my 6 month old daughter. While newborn mittens were too small for her hands, thumbs are still unnecessary. I did these in one evening after she went to bed. The perfect project if you ask me. The cuff is a flexible 1×1 rib and the fingering weight yarn is doubled for wind resistance and warmth. Finished mitts measure 4 inches from cuff to tip. St st can be extended for longer fingers and pattern can be sized up easily, just add in multiples of four and follow as written.
