Don't bother

Knit this and it knit EXACTLY to the dimensions required. I had issues that it was too long for me and I wondered about the pattern matching at the sleeves because I had had to work the pattern shorter. I didn't feel the pattern explained things very well and I really did not like the shaping of the sleeves. I also did not like how wide the front band is. Also I feel it would have been better to knit the front band all the way round once the front is attached to the back.
However I knit it to the size is was supposed to be and was concerned about the pattern matching on the sleeves. That was the least of my problems. The arm hole and sleeve size were not compatible at all and I decided, after knitting all the pieces that I am not even going to bother sewing it up. I cannot rip it back due to the multiple short strands if colour it will produce. So it's been a humongous waste of my time and effort and about to go in the garbage. I read someone else was having issues and had I read that before starting I would not have done so. I have knit for over 55 years so it's not as if I'm a new knitter. Pretty disappointed.
